Academic Requirement:

• Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master’s degree, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, shall be made for candidates of Gujarat belonging to reserved or differently abled categories.
• Candidates appearing in the final year examination may be allowed to appear in the PET examination, but the final admission process for such qualified candidates will depend on the production of a valid document for their minimum qualification at the time of admission.
