The University of Technology provides admission in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and Ph.D programs overall multiple disciplines, which are Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Science, and Humanities. It is a UGC approved institute. In the case of undergraduate programs such as B.Tech, BBA, BCA and B.Pharm, admissions are provided based on merit in their qualifying examinations (10+2) and performance in appropriate entrance examinations such as JEE Main, CUET, and UOT-JEST for all undergraduate programs. At the postgraduate level, UOT has programs including MBA, MCA, M.Tech and M.Sc, and students are selected based on marks in graduation and performance in entrance examination where applicable.

University of Technology Jaipur Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to the University of Technology:

Diploma Courses- Passed Class 10th (or equivalent) with minimum 35%–45% marks.
UG Courses- Passed 10+2 with relevant subject stream; minimum 45%–50% marks (relaxation for reserved categories)
Lateral Entry (UG)- Diploma or equivalent (min 2–3 years) with 45% marks or B.Sc./D.Voc. depending on the course.
PG Courses- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with minimum 45%–55% marks (subject-wise variation).
Ph.D.- Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant discipline.

University of Technology admission process is both online and offline both. The applicant must follow the steps to fill out the form:

Step 1: Application- The Candidates must apply online/offline through the official university portal or the admission office.

Step 2: Eligibility Check- The applications are evaluated based on academic qualifications, minimum percentage criteria, and subject combinations.

Step 3: Merit List- The Admission is given based on marks in the qualifying examination (10+2, Diploma, UG, or PG, depending on the course).

Ques. Is lateral entry available in B.Tech. and Diploma programs at the University of Technology?

Ans. Yes, the students with Diploma, B.Sc., or D.Voc. can apply for lateral entry into B.Tech. Similarly, ITI holders can get lateral entry into Diploma in university of technology. The fees of B.Tech lateral entry is INR 90,000 (First Year). For more details check the college website.

Ques. Does UOT accept JEE or CUET for B.Tech in university of technology?

Ans. Yes, for admission to the B.Tech program at the University of Technology, scores from JEE Main, CUET, and UOT-JEST are accepted, along with performance in the 10+2 examination.

Ques. What are the placement options available to the students at the University of Technology?

Ans. University of Technology has a Training & Placement Cell to assist students in securing internships and jobs with companies. Companies of all nature and in sectors like IT, Engineering, finance, and Pharmaceutical set up campus recruitment. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank, Cipla etc are few names. The placement packages that are offered are usually INRs 4 LPA to INRs 7 LPA (annual). In total, the placement percentage is around 70%.

Ans. Yes, almost all professional courses including B.Tech, MBA and Pharmacy have mandatory industrial training or internship. University of Technology provides such industrial training in collaboration with industries to provide this and improve employability as well.

The admission team is so fraud they just frame so many dreams in your eyes while you just met them during admission time but after 6 months they show there original faces they just need money from you they are so fraud

Admission:

I just applied for so many colleges and select for so many colleges but the first thing that attracts me for this college is the fees and the facilities they provide you they have not so big compus but the campus is beutiful, the second thing which attracts me towards this college is their teachers they are professional Their is no as such any addmission criteria for this college you just have to be a 12th pass certificate with 50+% for general and 45+% for others and you just have to visit this college fill their form and now you are the part of this college

Overall, its a good college.

Admission:

I choosed this college because mainly of attendance system. In this college you don't have to come regularly and attend evey lectures. I live in rajasthan and its the too hot state with 50 degree celsius temperature and its too difficult to attend classes in a day.

My dream university

Admission:

I choose this college over the others because of its different types of courses and good campus. As it also gives placements to students and also sports competition should be held there. The admission process is also very easy for students.

In this college the students are selected on entrance exam and on merit basis. The criteria is different in different courses. But in this course the college accept the admission on merit basis. The student can apply online aur offline mode as per his or her wish.
