Fees is ok for me but if it will be reduced by 5000 per semester it will be great for all students. But they provide financial assistance and scholarships are also there so dont worry about fees. Now a days Student Credit card facility is also there. They provide campus placement only for engineering students.
Fees are high as compared to other govt universities or govt colleges. But they don't pressurise the student to pay the sem fees in advance. Scholarships are there for the qualifying candidates. Financial assistance is given to the needy. They provide placement but they should reduce the fees.
Fees are comparatively high for poor students. I am from a very poor family so I have some difficulties gathering the fees. But they provide scholarships and financial assistance but they should reduce the fees. They provide placement after the 7th sem.
For a govt university, the Fees are high but comparing with Pvt Universities and colleges with 'A' grade in West Bengal the fees is low and now it depends on you that how much you are comfortable with this Rs 19375/ per sem and exam fees are 200Rs for each paper. But they provide financial assistance and scholarships and I have SVMCS so I don't feel any problem. But yes they should reduce the fees in near future.
The fees structure is high. They offer financial assistance and scholarship facility but still, fees are high enough to manage in spite of being a Govt university. The provide campus placement we have seen our juniors of Diploma portion get jobs from here.
The fee structure is high for me because I am from a poor family but I get an SVMCS scholarship so I don't have enough problem but in view, they should reduce their fees and exam enrollment amount. Financial assistance is available here.
The fees structure is quite expensive for middle-class students but they offer scholarships so dont worry and financial assistance are also provided by the Finance department. They offer campus jobs after 7th sem.
I think fees is quite high, if they reduce the fees like JU, KU, UIT then it will be helpful for poor students. But they provide all kinds of financial supports, They did not pressurise the students for paying the fees in advance. Scholarships are available here like SVMC and other small amounts of scholarships also. Specially student credit card is available here and university authority encourage us to get thsi facility. Still now i dont have any job because i am in 3rd year so i have to wait for the end of this year.
From my point of view, Fees structure is nominal as metallurgy is quite a high price course in all universities and colleges available in India but if you compare iit with Jadavpur University so you may feel that yes is more costly than Jadavpur. All types of scholarships, Financial assistance are offered by the university nowadays Student Credit Card is highly recommended by the university authority and Kanyashree is also here. They provide us jobs in campus placements but as I am only in my 3rd year I not able to get a job and for that, I have to wait for the 7th sem.
Fees structure is low comparable to Pvt Universities and Pvt Colleges but if we compare it with other Govt Universities the B-Tech courses and Diploma courses are quite high fees structure. you will get all types of scholarships and financial assistance and placement also for the engineering division only.
