Established in 2006, the college has grown into a university with an A grade accreditation from NAAC. It stands out for its affordable fee structure, being the cheapest in its region, and does not require donations for admission. However, students should be aware of potential late fines. Placement opportunities are limited, mainly benefiting students in the CSE/IT branches. While companies do visit for recruitment, job offers are infrequent and not particularly lucrative.
The college does not offer internships, though occasional opportunities like those with JCB in Faridabad may arise. Despite current challenges, efforts are ongoing to enhance placement services. In terms of financial support, students have access to substantial scholarships. During the 2015-16 academic year, students collectively received Rs. 7.1 Crore in scholarships, one of the highest amounts in India. Almost every student benefits from an annual scholarship from the Ministry of Minority Affairs, with individual scholarships reaching up to 1.2 lacs.
