SRHU MBBS : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Swami Rama Himalayan University, established in 1995 near Dehradun, is a recognized private institution offering a range of undergraduate to doctoral programs in medical, technical, and allied fields. The university's faculty is highly qualified, emphasizing conceptual understanding and personalized attention due to a favorable student-to-faculty ratio. The examination process includes regular topic assessments, sessional, pre-final, and final exams. A notable aspect is the one-year hospital-based internship, providing a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000 and enriching students' clinical experience.

The campus features the Himalayan Hospital, which receives over 2,500 outpatients daily, and facilities like a gym, café, and library. Fee structures vary: the BCA program costs 3 lakh INR, while the MBBS program for the 2024 batch is 21 lakh INR annually. Additional costs include 84,000 INR for mess and 90,000 INR for hostel charges per year. There is a 25% tuition rebate for 60 Uttarakhand students based on merit.

Despite rising fees over the past two years, the university does not offer general scholarships. General category students pay 20,50,000 INR per annum, whereas Uttarakhand students are charged 12,00,000 INR annually.
