MJPRU M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

In order to become eligible for this course, the candidate must have completed BSc programme with minimum 45% marks, For admission in MSc. (Biotech) programme, candidates had passed BSc. with minimum 50% marks. The candidate must also appear in the admission test.

For admission to the program, candidates will have to appear for the admission test conducted by the University. Candidates who satisfy the cut-off criteria need to appear for college-level counselling after that.

MJPRU M.Sc Exam Pattern

There will be a single exam which will consist of 100 questions and the duration will be 2 hours. The University will conduct common examination for botany as well as plant science, zoology as well as animal science, applied chemistry as well as chemistry, applied maths as well as maths and applied physics as well as physics. After that, common merit will be prepared for all these papers. There will be multiple-choice questions; the process of scoring will be as follows:

  • All objective questions will carry 4 marks for a correct answer.
  • For incorrect response, 1 mark will get deducted
  • No deduction is there in case of no response.
  • All objective type question need to be answered on OMR answer sheets.
  • The answer needs to be marked with a black ballpoint pen/HB pencil only.
  • The calculation of merit will be on the basis of marks
