MJPRU B.Tech admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply for BTech admission at MJPRU has been extended to July 25, 2024. Interested candidates can register online on the official admission portal of MJPRU @admission.mjpruiums.in. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission. The selection will be done through a counselling process based on the rank secured in the JEE Main examination.
MJPRU has also released the counselling schedule for admission to the BTech program. MJPRU BTech Phase 1 Round 1 counselling will be held from July 20 to July 24, 2024. Candidates must report to the university campus with all Xerox and original copies of documents as per the given schedule. After the seat allotment, selected candidates must pay the admission fee on the day of counselling. MJPRU BTech fee is INR 83,450 (for General/OBC) and INR 8,450 (For SC/SCT candidates whose parents’ annual income is up to INR 2.5 Lacs) and this includes the refundable caution money of INR 8,000. MJPRU BTech Eligibility Criteria
For BTech (1st Year through JEE Mains)
- Applicants need to pass Senior Secondary Examination in Science Stream (PCM) with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
- Candidates in order to qualify for the counselling, have to appear and pass JEE Mains Examination.
For BTech Lateral Entry
- Candidates need to appear and pass the 10+2 Exam with Mathematics as a subject.
- Diploma holder applicants must be 3/4 Years Diploma holder in any branch of Engineering or Technology except Agricultural Engineering, from an institution recognised by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. General candidates need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate and 55% in the case of SC/ST.
- BSc holders applicants must be a BSc graduate from a recognised University in India with a minimum of 60% aggregate and 55% in the case of SC and ST candidate.
MJPRU BTech Admission Criteria
Through JEE Mains
- Admission to the B.Tech programme at MJPRU is entirely based on the marks of JEE Mains conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Eligible and JEE Mains qualified students to have to register themselves with the University Portal in order to proceed with the further selection process.
- On the basis of applications, the University will release a merit list containing the eligible candidates %ile.
- All the eligible candidates have to appear for a counselling session to secure their seat at MJPRU.
- According to their score candidates will be allotted to their preferred branch. Eligible and interested candidates have to freeze the option and pay the admission fee in order to reserves their seat as an admitted student.
- University will grant admission only after the original document verification and full fee payment.
For BTech Lateral Entry
- Admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry at MPRJU will be done through the JEE Main Examination.
- All the admission will be done through UPTAC Central Counseling.
- After the declaration of the JEE Main Result, the University will publish its Opening and Closing Rank.
- Eligible candidates have to proceed with the further steps by appearing in the central counselling.
- Candidates have to select their preferred branch in descending order and to confirm the choice one has to lock it.
- If the candidates meet all the required eligibility he/she will be offered provisional admission.
- Interested candidates have to pay their Semester + Admission fee in order to reserves their seat as admitted ones.

- All the eligible and JEE Mains qualified student have to register themselves with MJPRU Admission Portal.
- Register with the above-mentioned website with your Email ID and Phone Number (whatever requires)
- Upon registration, every candidate will be provided with a unique ID and Password.
- Use that ID and Password for further login. Once you log in to the portal complete all the required field.
- Submit your academic and personal details to complete the process.

MJPRU BTech Course Details
The BTech Programme at MJPRU has a mixed balance of both Theoretical and Practical Exposure. The course is spread over 8 semesters with 264 credits all total.
- In the first semester, it has a total of 34 credits out of which 25 are Theory and the rests are Practical Credits.
- Till the 2nd semester, students have to study English Communication as a Core Subject.
- Students have the liberty to choose Minor Paper from Humanities background such as Economics/Management/Political Science etc.
- During the tenure of BTech, every student has to undergo a Minor Project at VI Semester, a Major Project at VII Semester and have to submit a Dissertation at the final semester.

MJPRU Bareilly does not offer a PhD Management course.
MJPRU conducts RET for admission to its Ph.D programs. The university has uploaded the RET syllabus for the respective Ph.D programs on the official website of the university. The syllabus is available under the Download section.
MJPRU has already conducted RET for admission in the 2022-23 academic session. The registration process for the RET 2023 is expected to begin in February 2023 tentatively. The official notification will be released on the on the website of the university.
The annual program fee for the Ph.D in Economics program of MJPRU is INR 7500. You can apply for admission in this program if you have an MA Economics degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized unversity. Admission will be granted based on the merit of the entrance test and personal interview conducted by the university. Application forms can be downloaded online and the filled up application form along with the required documents must be sent to the respective departments of the university.
