Ques. Is the CSJMU PhD Entrance Test compulsory for all candidates, or can UGC-NET/JRF holders get direct admission?
Ans. UGC-NET/JRF qualified candidates are exempted from the written entrance test as per UGC PhD Regulations 2022. They are directly called for the subject-specific interview. However, appearing in the interview is mandatory for all candidates, including JRF holders. The final merit list is prepared based on interview performance for exempted candidates. Candidates with only NET (without JRF) should verify their exemption status from the official CSJMU PhD brochure for the relevant year, as the policy may vary.
Ques. What is the minimum qualification required for PhD Physical Education admission at CSJMU?
Ans. Candidates must hold an M.P.Ed. (Master of Physical Education) or an equivalent postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum is 50%.
