Ques. What is the difference between MPH and other health management courses?
Ans. MPH is a specialized postgraduate programme focused on public health, epidemiology, and disease prevention at the population level. Other health management courses may focus on hospital management or healthcare administration. MPH provides comprehensive training in public health principles, epidemiological methods, biostatistics, and community health interventions. The MPH curriculum emphasizes research, policy development, and evidence-based public health practice, preparing graduates for leadership roles in public health organizations and disease prevention programs.
Ques. What practical experience will I gain during the MPH programme?

Ques. What is the admission process and timeline for MPH?
Ans. The admission process for MPH is merit-based and conducted through selection by the university. Candidates must register and submit their online application on the VMRF portal within the specified deadline. Merit list will be prepared based on academic performance and relevant experience. Candidates must participate in the selection process conducted by the university. Candidates must report to the college with original certificates and required documents as per the selection schedule. Admission confirmation and course commencement will be as per university notification.
Ques. What documents are required at the time of admission to MPH?
Ans. Candidates must submit the following original documents along with scanned copies and photocopies at the time of admission: Bachelor's degree certificate or provisional certificate, degree mark sheets (all years) or consolidated statement of marks, transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the last institution, community certificate (if applicable), migration certificate (if applicable), 10th and 12th standard mark sheets or birth certificate as proof of date of birth, copy of Aadhaar card of the candidate, copy of Aadhaar card of parents/guardian, medical fitness certificate, and recent passport-size color photographs. Candidates must ensure that their name and date of birth are identical in both school certificates and Aadhaar card.
