Ques. Is there any entrance exam for B.Tech admission at SRIHER? Is JEE mandatory?
Ans. No, there is no entrance exam for B.Tech admission at SRIHER. Admission is entirely based on 12th standard marks. JEE score is not mandatory; however, a good JEE score is considered an added advantage. This makes SRIHER's B.Tech admission process straightforward and accessible for students who may not have appeared for JEE.
Ques. What makes B.Tech Computer Science and Medical Engineering different from regular CSE?
Ans. This programme uniquely combines computer science, AI, and data analytics with medical engineering subjects such as Biomedical Instrumentation, Cell Biology and Stem Cell Technology, Functional Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Image Processing, and Medical Device Innovation. Ans. Yes, internships are compulsory and are embedded in the curriculum across multiple semesters (Internship I in Sem II, Internship II in Sem IV, Internship III in Sem V, and a 6-month internship in the final year). The internships are industrial and free of cost to students. Whether students receive a stipend depends on the company/organisation where they intern.

Ans. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls on the 150-acre SRIHER campus. Mess facility is compulsory for first-year hostel residents. The campus also has a bank with ATMs, gym, cafeteria, swimming pool, tennis court, and other amenities. Students are advised to apply for hostel at the time of admission to secure a seat.
