In Gandhigram rural institute (GRI) it is a deemed university umder ministry of education government of india which is established by gandhian G ramachandran who was truly inspired by gandhian vision of nai talim Fees structure from 2019 For MASTERS IN ZOOLOGY AND BOTANY SIMILAR FEE STRUCTURE 12000/ PER SEMESTER WHEN JOINING WE WERE CHARGED SOME EXTRA FEEES LIKE 1) ADMISSIONS FEE -1200 2) CAUTION DEPOSIT-5000 3) LAB MAINTAINCE -2000 4) KHADI FUND - 1200 ( WE CAN PURCHASE KHADI PRODUCT) 5) FIELD TRIP - 1000 IN ADDITION TO SEMESTER FEES WE ARE advise to pay this additional fees just at the time of admission Other particular fees like village placement fee of 800 ruppees per year Record book fees like 100/ record Totally we need 15 records to complete masters Scholarship and financial benefits avail to students 1) merit cum means - full tution fee waiver 2) post matric scholarship- tuition fee waiver 3) scholarship for SC and ST 4) tamilnnadu state scholarship for eligible students 5) earn while learn financial assistance of 4000/per semester by gandhigram rural university to promote economically weaker students

The fees hike policy is followed and the alloted time duration around 1 month for pay fees and the cost of study is somewhat high per year. They provide Bc scholarship with the family income below 200000 and provide stipend around 4000

Since my father was government employee.I was not eligible for scholarship and there was no loan offered that time.
