Amity Jaipur PhD Pharmaceutical Sciences Admission 2026

Admissions to the Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences) Part Time programme at Amity University Jaipur are conducted twice a year, for January and July sessions. The selection process involves the APET (Amity PhD Entrance Test) followed by a Faculty Research Committee (FRC) interview. Candidates with valid GPAT, UGC-NET, GATE, or similar national-level qualifications are exempted from the written test. For the July 2026 session, applications are currently open.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates from SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.
• Part-time candidates must be employed and must submit an NOC from their employer at the time of joining.

Admission Process

• Register and fill the online application form at www.amity.edu/phd and pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online.
• Upload all required documents including academic certificates, employment proof, a Preliminary Research Idea, and (if applicable) GPAT/NET/GATE certificate for APET exemption.
• Appear in the APET (90-minute, 100 MCQ test) unless exempted by a valid national-level qualification.
• Qualified/exempted candidates appear before the Faculty Research Committee (FRC) for an interview.
• Selected candidates receive an admission letter on the admission microsite and must complete fee payment and registration within the stipulated time.
• Submit NOC from employer at the time of registration/orientation (mandatory for part-time candidates).

Amity Jaipur PhD Pharmaceutical Sciences Scholarships 2026

Standard Amity merit scholarships are not applicable for Ph.D. programmes. The Amity Research Fellowship (ARF) is available only for full-time Ph.D. scholars and is not applicable for part-time scholars. Government fellowships such as UGC-JRF, CSIR-JRF, and DBT-JRF may be applicable if the candidate holds a valid fellowship.

Scholarship Details

• The Amity Research Fellowship (ARF) is NOT available for part-time Ph.D. scholars.
• Standard Amity merit scholarships (based on Class XII/graduation marks) are NOT applicable for Ph.D. programmes.
• Government fellowship holders should verify with the respective funding agency whether the fellowship is applicable for part-time Ph.D. enrolment.
