The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Why you should choose chitkara University

Likes

I felt everything is nice I don't think so this college need some improvement
I like campus infrastructure the well furnished design
I like the faculty member they are so helpful in nature and helping aunties and security is also nice with us

Dislikes

I don't dislike anything here it is such a nice campus
The rule and regulation is too muchhhhhh
Too much of fees or extra amount is taken in the name of supply paper

I was not able to clear my mbbs exam so I choose this degree and I guess this degree is also nice it's not paramedical it's come under allied health course This course take 3 time sts and 1 final exam in ever 6 month

Likes

I really love the environment of chitkara University. You feel connected with the beautiful flowers and gardens. As per the academics faculty is supportive and they try to bring the best out of you and make you feel more confident.
I really like the way of teaching like presentations, giving day to day life examples and connecting it with our subject make it more easy and fun to learn.
More curriculum activities to know your self out of your field too. Personally, it gave me better opportunities for me and Bringing the best out of me that I could never dreamt of.

Dislikes

As we all know attendance sucks in university as it is criteria but is should be decreased like minimum 65 percent. So that every second person could manage with it.
I personally don't like hostel in the university. The food complaints I always listen from my hostels friends. It's not good as students are paying enough big amount toh get good quality of the meals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really the best faculty as per my knowledge. They come up with the best ideas to make us learn and keep us motivating for our career. They have a positive spark which they spread all over when it comes to the course. Yes sometimes they are strict and make you realise that you can't do anything but at the end it's for our betterment we have improved a lot by listening those scoldings . So yes it's being good to acknowledge your self here. Morning exam schedule ( sessional test) is : 9.30 - 10:30 and for Evening time : 2.00 to 3.00 end term we have Morning 9.30 to 12.30

COLLEGE LIFE IS AWSOME. THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE CAMPUS IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

GOOD REMARKS OF THE COLLEGE IS THE CAMPUS OF THE COLLEGE IS VERY GOOD AND THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE COLLEGE IS SO FRIENDLY. THE FACULTY OF OUR DEPARTMENT IS VERY VERY NICE.THEY WILL ALWAYS HELP US FOR ENTRY SITUATION .THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF THE CAMPUS AND THE COLLEGE LIFE IS THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE CAMPUS AND THE FACULTY OF OUR ENVIRONMENT.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
