The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

CSPA THE BEST architecture college in North India

Likes

The college infrastructure is vary good and nice
The teacher are very professional and experienced
Atmosphere of univesrity is very much friendly

Dislikes

There is minimum 75 percent attendence coupalsary
Fees is somewhat expensive and not worthy

The course is designed according to the latest trends and curriculum and is practical and provides very much knowledge to us . All the new and well known techniques are used to teach us and provide the knowledge for our well being . Everything tought in the session is very helpfull for the future barriers .

A nice college to study architecture

Likes

The proffesers are super supportive and they support you always and help solving your doubts
The infrastructure is preety good as compared to other architectural colleges and has proper studios for working
There are external faculties which come to college and give us immense knowledge

Dislikes

75 percent attendence is hectic and you have to come college daily
There is a fixed dress code the chitkara t shirts which you have to wear everyday and come to college

Placement Experience:

The college provides decent placements . Most of the placements are through the alumini network of the college and over more than 70 percent children get placed . Highest package accounts til 9 lpa which quiet good in architecture and average package accouts for 7 lpa

Availability of expert teaching professionals
Availability of one on one mentorship provided by the faculty
Availability of various opportunities to advance in the respective field

Dislikes

The infrastructure doesn't include more spaces for social interaction.
There is no specific room provided for students to sit and study in their free time, in case of construction.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very effective and does prepare us for real world with the help of in depth study and activities that are included. The only thing that bothers me is the sessional tests. I think there should only be a mid term exam and finals instead of 3 sessional tests and then finals. This will give us more time to work on our projects.

My Experience of college till now

Likes

Availability of so many clubs like the Natraj club and the Dhwani club.
Events that take place constantly. Along with my department events many DJ nights also take place in the campus.

Dislikes

The over-all fees may be is a little high. Like there are also many colleges which are charging much more but still.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was basically into more of design thinking and crafts work since 10 grade so I went for BArch. I could have also chose ID (interior design) but it was only restricted to one field, whereas in Architecture I have an opportunity to learn about interior design plus making the buildings. My curriculum contains various subjects all related to the field and the subjects change a little every semester. According to me the curriculum and the way studying is being conducted is perfect. Also 3 sessional tests and one 1 end term exam is conducted every semester. In sessional tests it's necessary to pass any two so there are lower chances of u getting detained. Also the exams are not that difficult if u are paying attention in class and studying even just before the exams.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
