Is DY Patil Navi Mumbai good for medical programs?

Students and alumni say that DY Patil, for Medical, is not really a student friendly college, atleast not the Navi Mumbai one. Studies are good like any other medical college. Only some teachers treat you like students. Most of the teachers dont even bother. They just think of us as rich kids who don't want to study so they dont even bother teaching. The lab assistants and other staff are the worst. They dont know how to talk to students. Even the environment is quite depressing; you're not just mocked by the teachers for paying so much but even by your fellow classmates and seniors. Now coming to the hyped extra curricular activities, there are none. No one in the college bothers to participate, its always the same people. If you want to join something (even the gym, which is free for students in most of the colleges) you have to pay extra even after paying the hefty amount of fees ( around 25 lakhs, annually) and hostel fees. They charge you the same money they charge the non-uni people. Youre not even allowed to use the university grounds, even for running or just walking. Most students definitely do not recommend this college.There is no college life whatsoever and you definitely wont want your medical degree from DY Patil University, since its reputation is very bad especially in Mumbai.It's better to take a drop year than coming to this college, otherwise all youll end up with is dealing with insults, bad behaviour and criticism, plus guilt for paying so much fees.

As per our research, a candidates cohort enrolled in the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program, which was touted as a one-year program equivalent to a two-year regular degree. This claim was explicitly stated in their brochure and promotional materials. However, upon completing the program, they were issued non-credit certificates equivalent to a certificate course, rather than a degree. When we questioned the university administration, they denied their initial promises. Furthermore, the university has removed all brochures and advertisements from their website, likely to avoid legal repercussions.
