The admission process at the college requires passing the PET exam and participating in a comprehensive counseling process. This includes photo scanning, thumb impression, document verification, and an interview at the institute. The college faculty comprises both new and experienced members, but there is a noted deficiency in practical teaching, affecting student learning and placement outcomes. The fee structure includes a tuition fee of Rs. 28,250 per semester and a semester registration fee of Rs. 250.
For BTech students, the annual fee is Rs. 38,000 for lateral entry and Rs. 55,000 for computer science students, excluding an exam fee of Rs. 3,000 and an exam registration fee of Rs. 250. Although the fees are deemed affordable for middle-class families, concerns exist regarding the value relative to services provided, with no scholarships from the college but government scholarships available for eligible Madhya Pradesh students. Out of 60 students, only 5 were placed, reflecting a low placement rate, with annual packages around 2.6 lakh.
Despite multiple companies like Cognizant Pune, Syntel Mumbai, HCL, Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Tata, Xcrino, and Hind Global Solutions visiting the campus, students become eligible for placements from the 4th semester. The university recently made 15 offers, and tech companies added 12 more, with an average package of 4.5 lakh per annum. Although the college doesn’t provide internships, students can pursue them externally, with companies offering stipends. Post-COVID-19, campus placement opportunities have improved for BTech students.
