GJUST B.Tech Electrical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the college is based on HSTES mains scores, requiring applicants to apply through the HSTES website. The admission process includes three rounds of online counseling and two offline rounds. If seats remain vacant, additional merit-based counseling occurs, though merit-based admission is rare due to seat allocation preferences. The faculty is friendly and supportive, with a favorable 2:1 faculty-to-student ratio, though the chemistry department is noted as lacking. The exam system is challenging, with only about 10% of students passing all subjects each semester, and frequent re-examinations due to difficult semester exams.

Placement opportunities are strong in fields like computer science, IT, electronic and communication engineering, and printing technology, with a 100% placement rate in these areas. The highest package offered is 16 LPA for B.Tech in printing, and the average package is around 4 LPA. About 40% of students secure placements, with IT companies being prominent recruiters.
