Academic Qualification

• A First-class (GPA 3.7–4.0) or strong upper second-class (GPA 3.5–3.69) undergraduate degree with honours (Minimum Weighted Average 67%).
• Relevant Subject Areas: Law, Sociology, Politics, Economics, Social Policy, Psychology, History, or another subject relevant to Criminology.

Alternative Consideration

• Extensive employment experience in the field of criminal justice may compensate for not meeting the academic requirement

Country Specific Requirement

For a Strong Upper Second-Class Undergraduate degree:

• 4-year Degree: 60% (prestigious institutions) or 70% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 70% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.3/4.0), (5.0/7.0), (6.0/8.0), or (8.0/10.0).

For a First-Class Undergraduate Degree:

• 4-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 70% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.5/4.0), (5.5/7.0), (6.5/8.0), or (8.5/10.0).

Other Qualification

• Work experience: In a relevant field may be an advantage but is not a requirement.
• Professional Experience: Relevant experience will be given more weight if it has been a long time since full-time education.
• Publications: Not required, But it may enhance an application in some cases, but absence will not be viewed negatively.

• IELTS Academic: Overall 7.5, with a minimum of 7.0 per component.

• C1 Advanced: Overall 191, with a minimum of 185 per component.
• C2 Proficiency: Overall 191, with a minimum of 185 per component.
• Oxford Test of English Advanced: Overall: 165, Minimum: 155
