Academic Qualification

• A First-class (GPA 3.7–4.0) or strong upper second-class (GPA 3.5–3.69) undergraduate degree with honours.
• Accepted Subject Areas/Disciplines: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Computation (One of the following Subjects).
• Entrance is very competitive: most successful applicants have a first-class degree and Previous Master's Degree Not required for consideration in the program.

Country Specific Requirement

For a Strong Upper Second-Class Undergraduate degree:

• 4-year Degree: 60% (prestigious institutions) or 70% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 70% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.3/4.0), (5.0/7.0), (6.0/8.0), or (8.0/10.0).

For a First-Class Undergraduate Degree:

• 4-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 70% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.5/4.0), (5.5/7.0), (6.5/8.0), or (8.5/10.0).

Required GPA for USA Degrees

Minimum GPA 3.5 out of 4.0. But, Most successful applicants have (3.7 GPA)

Other Qualification, Evidence of Excellence, Work Experience

• Research Understanding: Good understanding of the proposed research area and familiarity with recent work of the proposed supervisor(s).
• Relevant Experience: Research or work experience in a related field is advantageous.
• Research Interest: Demonstrated interest in research, including technical skills and effective experiment execution, enhances the application.
• Publications: Not required, but prior publications in scientific journals may strengthen the application.

• IELTS Academic: Overall 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 per component.
• TOEFL iBT (including Home Edition): Overall 100, with Listening: 22, Reading: 24, Speaking: 25, Writing: 24.
• C1 Advanced: Overall 185, with a minimum of 176 per component.
• C2 Proficiency: Overall 185, with a minimum of 176 per component.
• Oxford Test of English Advanced: Overall: 155, Minimum: 145
