- Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham is a 3-year program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The course allows a high degree of specialization in various areas of biotechnology in years two and three. Specialist areas include plant, microbial/industrial, medical/pharmaceutical biotechnology.
- The course includes an optional industrial placement in year 2, which will enable students to gain industry experience, crucial for students career development and employment.
- In year 3, students will carry out a research project which will help to develop specialist knowledge in an area of interest.
