Academic Qualification

• IB Score: 28 points overall or 555 in 3 HL (Higher Level) certificates.
• IB Subject Requirements: 5HL in a science related subject (Including: Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Geography, Economics, Business Management, Environmental Systems and Societies).
• A-Level: BBB with A science related subject OR BBC + A in EPQ.
• GCSE: Maths & English or Literature with grade 4/C or above.

• Excluded Subjects: Citizenship Studies, Critical Thinking, Science and Society, General Studies, Leisure Studies.

• RQF BTEC Nationals:
  • RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma Applied Science DDM.
  • RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma Applied Science (Biomedical Science) DDM.
  • RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma Agriculture DDM.
  • RQF Level 3 BTEC National Diploma DM + A Level grade B.
  • RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate D + A Levels grades BC.
• Science and Engineering Foundation Certificate: Available via Nottingham International College for students not meeting direct entry requirements.
• Access to HE Diploma: 21 Level 3 credits at Distinction, 18 at Merit (including 15 in science), and 6 at Pass.

• DM: Distinction in one unit, Merit in one.
• DM + A Level grade B:
  • DM: Distinction and Merit in a BTEC National Diploma.
  • B: B grade in one A Level subject.

• Standard XII: 80% overall, with 80% in Mathematics and a related science (Physics/Chemistry).
• IHSC XII (All Other State Boards): 80%-98%
• IHSC XII (CBSE or CISCE Boards): 75%-93%
• IHSC XII (Maharashtra Board): 75%-93%

• IHSC XII (West Bengal Board): 65%-83%

English Requirements

• IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no component below 5.5.
• TOEFL iBT: 80 Overall, Minimum 17 in writing and listening, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking)
• PTE: 65 Overall, Minimum of 59 in each element.
