  • IB Score: 34 Points overall or 666 in 3 Higher Level Certificates.
  • IB Subject Requirements:
    • HL6 in Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches.
    • HL6 in Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation.
    • SL7 in Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and HL6 in Physics or SL7 in Physics.
    • Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation is not accepted at Standard Level.

  • A-Level Requirement AAA / AABB:

    • A in Maths + Physics (preferred) or Further Maths.

    • Alternatively Maths + any two of Chemistry, Biology, Design, Economics, Psychology, Electronics, or Computer Science.

  • GCSE Requirement: English grade 4 (C).

  • Excluded Subjects: General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies, CIE Global Perspectives and Research, CIE Thinking Skills.

NOTE:

  • HL6: 6 in a Higher Level subject.
  • SL7: 7 in a Standard Level subject.
  • AAA: Requires A grades in three A-Level subjects.

  • Extended Certificate in Engineering/Science + A-Level Maths & Physics/Further Maths: D + A in A-Level Maths & A in A-Level Physics/Further Maths.
  • Access to HE Diploma: 36 Level 3 credits at Distinction (including 15 in Mathematics and 15 in Engineering/Science) + 9 Level 3 credits at Merit.
  • EPQ Consideration: Achieving an A in EPQ results in one grade lower in a non-mandatory A-level subject.
