  • IB Score: 28 Overall or 555 in 3 Higher Level Certificates.
  • IB Requirements: Higher Level Music grade 5.
  • A-Level: BBB with
    • Required Subjects B in Music or Music Technology.
    • Alternative to A-Level Music ABRSM Graded Theory Grade 5 or Trinity/Rockschool Theory Grade 6.
  • GCSE: English Grade 4 (C).
Alternative Qualifications
  • BTEC National Extended Diploma: DDD in Music or other subject combination (Music requirement must be met).
  • BTEC Diploma: DD + B at A-Level Music (Music alternative required if not studying A-Level Music).
  • BTEC Subsidiary Diploma/National Extended Certificate: D + A-Levels BB in Music (Music alternative required if not studying A-Level Music).
  • Access to HE Diploma: 45 credits at L3 (21 Distinction, 18 Merit), 12 Level 3 credits in Music (Distinction), ABRSM Grade 5 Theory required.

NOTE: 

  • DDD means Distinction in all three units.
  • DD + B at A-Level Music:
    • DD: Distinction in two units of a BTEC National Diploma.
    • B: B grade in A-Level Music.
  • DD + B at A-Level Music:
    • This is the same requirement as the first one: Distinction in two BTEC National Diploma units and a B grade in A-Level Music.
