A 2:2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in:

• chemical, materials, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering
• chemistry  
• any pure applied science *

Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the following minimum language proficiency requirements:

• IELTS: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
• TOEFL: 90 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing).
• PTE (Pearson Test of English): 70 overall (with a minimum of 59 in each sub-skill).
