- The degree starts by developing an understanding of the world we live in through a variety of perspectives, periods, and subjects – including music.
- Students will then take at least two specialist music modules. Following on from exploring the materials of music and employing them in songwriting, students can choose to study further music modules.
- One investigates how music relates to social contexts, historically, and in the present day, and one focuses on developing practical musical skills and collaborative music-making through sustained critical reflection.
- Students’ will work with a wide range of musical styles and develop skills in analyzing, creating, and writing about music.
