UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) is developing an all-digital immigration system. They are replacing physical documents with an online record of your immigration status. You will need to create a UKVI account to access your eVisa and share information about your immigration status and conditions using the view and prove service. You do not have to pay to create a UKVI account.

Applying for Visa

• CAS Requirement:

  • A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is necessary to apply as a new or continuing student at the University of Bedfordshire.

• New Students:

  • New students receive a CAS once all conditions of their offer are met.

• Continuing Students:

  • Continuing students must request a CAS, which will be reviewed by the University.

• Issuance Criteria:

  • The University must have reasonable grounds to believe the student will obtain a visa and intends to pursue the course.
  • The course duration must comply with UK Visas and Immigration regulations and show academic progression from previous studies.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Students with prior UK study may need to apply for a Student visa from their home country and must provide:
    • Boarding pass
    • Passport page with personal details
    • Entry stamp in the passport.
