This course provides you with the knowledge and experience of the key issues of innovation and entrepreneurship.ÊIn a practice-based learning environment this course prepares you to develop and utilize your entrepreneurial thinking, build your creative and problem solving skills and lead others on creating and managing innovative firms. You will learn to apply the principles of innovation management and entrepreneurship from idea through to implementation with a local or international focus..
Our strong track record of excellence in entrepreneurship has been recognised by the Higher Education Statistics Agency and Kingston University has been ranked as the top university in the UK for graduate start-ups for the sixth time. The course includes a University-sponsored study tour to places such as fintech hub level 39 in Canary Wharf and to meet the entrepreneurial team in City Hall, with the opportunity to enter the London Mayor's entrepreneur start-up competition (last year there were 4 finalists from Kingston).Ê
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Should have typical appropriate first degree subjects would include computer science (including software engineering or cybersecurity), mathematics, statistics, and engineering.
- At least a 2.2 honors degree on a 4.0 scale in a subject with significant computing science or mathematics/statistics content.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
