Academic Requirements

  • You will typically need an upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent GPA of 6/10 or higher or 60%) in an Engineering or Science discipline. 
  • Applicants with degrees in Geology, Geography, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences or any science subject outside of Physics or Chemistry must demonstrate mathematical knowledge either with a Grade C or above in A-level Mathematics (or international equivalent 60% or above in Maths in Class 12 from recognized state boards)) or a 2.1 in three different quantitative or physics modules from the following units: Advanced Maths, Calculus, Data Analytics etc.

Admissions Requirement

University will also consider your application if your final overall achieved grades are below the programme's entry requirement, If you have at least one of the following:

  • evidence of relevant work experience in the nuclear sector or a closely linked engineering sector (eg aerospace, oil and gas, automobile);
  • a relevant postgraduate qualification from one of the accepted subjects listed above.

English Proficiency Score

  • IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in all skills
  • PTE 67 overall with no lower than 64 in all skills
  • TOEFL 88 overall with R20, L19, S22, W22
  • India (CISCE or CBSE) Standard XII/Senior School Certificate Examination- 70% in English
  • India (Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal state boards)- 85% in English
