- There is an active student association with plenty of clubs to join as per interest.
Dislikes
- However, you don't get a lot of companies in career fairs and are unlikely to succeed in campus placements as they prioritize EU and UK regardless of what they say about accepting international students.
Campus Life
- There's lots of things- language club, sports, theater and dramatics, gym on the 5th floor of the Cockroft building.
Accommodation
- I stayed out of campus and paid around 1520 per term.
Likes
- I loved the course structure and the professors who were teaching the course. I also loved the fact that Brighton is such a creative and cultural city with a very positive environment.
- My course, professors, and the city. The people I met and the experiences I gained in terms of volunteering opportunities that really added to my CV.
Dislikes
- How short the course goes by. Also, the placement team can do a much better job when it comes to providing help for courses apart from business and engineering.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite chill and since I was a masters student, I didn't have much time to get into too much extracurriculars or clubs. However there's wonderful clubs and they have really cool events. The campuses are very beautiful, have amazing facilities like research rooms, galleries etc.
Accommodation
I went for a private accommodation with a friend in a private rented studio apartment. The rent was 475 pounds for one person including bills like wifi, water, electricity. The university does have its own accommodation and multiple other private accommodation like IQ Abacus etc. which are on an expensive side. Do not forget Brighton is the second most expensive city of the UK, therefore you need to get a part-time to manage finances.
