Academic Qualification

• Graduate Applicants: Must have an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized Indian university. OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy, Biomedical Science, or Human Biology with Human Anatomy as a major subject and a 2.2 (Equivalent to GPA 2.7 to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) Honours equivalent (50-59% in Indian grading).

• Must have completed all assessments at the first attempt for the year they are applying.
• Must have at least a Lower Second Class Honours 2.2 (Equivalent to GPA 2.7 to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or (50-59% in Indian grading).
• Must have official permission from their Indian medical/dental school to intercalate at QUB.

• Must be studying at a recognized Indian medical/dental university (approved by MCI/NMC).
• Must have passed all assessments at the first attempt in the year they are applying (normally 3rd year for a 5-year MBBS or 4th year for a 6-year MBBS).
• May need to submit curriculum details for compatibility verification.
• Must have official permission from their Indian medical/dental school to intercalate.

• UK 2:2 Equivalent: Bachelor’s degree with Second Division Pass, 53-55% (traditional system) or CGPA 5.3 - 6.5 (10-point scale).
• Consideration for Top Institutions: Candidates from prestigious Indian institutions may be considered with:

  • 53%+ (for UK 2:2).
• English Proficiency Alternative: 70% in English in Standard XII (valid for 7 years) from accepted boards. Digilocker verification required.
