Colleges Where I Was Accepted
Reason for choosing my college
- I chose Cranfield University for its strong industry focus, practical approach to learning, and specialised PG programs. It has close ties with the finance and fintech sectors, along with real-world projects and applied learning.
- Cranfield's reputation for producing industry-ready graduates made me choose Cranfield University over other Universities.
Colleges Where I Was Rejected
Reason for Rejection
- I had applied late for the University of Bath; if only I would have applied earlier, I would have received an offer letter from them as well.

Tips to enhance your application
- Just be yourself, write the truth and you will certainly achieve those goals.
Admission Experience
- I chose Cranfield SOM for its strong academic reputation, industry-focused programs and the UK's global standing in business and finance. The MSc program offered a practical and career-oriented curriculum that was well aligned with my goals.
Class Schedule
9
- 2 classes per day, 5 days a week from 7 am till 2pm or 3pm till 7 pm
Faculty
10
- 8:1 faculty-to-student ratio; Accounting, Corporate Finance, Economics and Statistical Finance were my favourite subjects.
Campus Life
10
- 1 big campus in our university, 1 library, 0 medical facilities
Part Time Jobs
- You can get paid up to GBP 12 per hour; it is tough to get part-time jobs, as there is a lot of competition. They prefer getting jobs in restaurants or other warehouses.
- Travel is reasonably cheap and you can save up a lot of money and be less dependent on your parents/guardians. Indians can accommodate to any situation and can find company everywhere.
- There are many part-time jobs off campus and very few on-campus roles. You can work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Amazon and other organisations do provide part-time jobs. They are fairly waged at approx.
- 12-13 GBP per hour. After graduation you can work for 40 hours per week. On-campus jobs are scarce; few to no options are available. Mostly PhD students take up those jobs.
Placement
6
- I always wanted to come back to India and never applied in the UK. However, as per the market recession and friends in the UK, you can find yourself struggling to search for a suitable job that is in line with your MSc.
- As per my friends and colleagues, the current condition is not suitable until and unless you are a high ranker or you start applying early before your course starts.
