Likes
- Located in centre of city, friendly staff, many sports facility available, accomodation in the campus, big library with ample space for studying, Social club and pub, shop for university stationaries.
Course Curriculum
- When I studies, the course gave me good insight aboutthe industry, we had a industrial site visit, approx. 3 to 4 classes a day between 9am to 5pm, around 100 students in the class.
Admission Experience
- Newcastle is a student city, with population of people around the world. One of the top ranked university at the time of getting the admission. Situated near the north east coast line. I was interested in BIM and this program was best for my career progression.
- You need to have a undergraduation degree to apply for masters in this university and have an IELTS score of 6.5+ .
Faculty
- Hazle ponton was an amazing tutor, Ray Elessie was very good lecturer in practical classes. Every staff was really friendly and reliable to ask any difficult and silly questions.
Campus Life
- The campus is very big, with many resources and amenities available. The sports club, different libraries, labs, and shops within the campus to explore.
Part Time Jobs
- There are job opportunities to assist your lecturer when studying at the uni, or you can also work in the shops and other business outside of the university.
Placement
- I graduated with above average score and secured a placement in Jaguar Landrover company which is the top car manufacturing company in the world.
- Fresh graduates can expect around £30,000 PA, and experienced candidates can expect around £40,000 PA. There are usually job fairs in the universities and also you can apply through online platforms for jobs.
Accommodation
- I wanted an En-suit and it was expensive on campus, so I stayed at an outsider student accommodation facility close to the university. The weekly rent was around £110.
Exams
- IELTS, SOP and Police clearance, TB test certificate.
Fees
- Fee was around £15,000.
