What Students Say?
Likes
- The course structure was really good, with great overall exposure to different areas needed in an MBA.
Dislikes
- The placements were not good at all, not too much help in getting a job.
I chose this country since I did not require a Visa here. The reason I chose this University because it was the highest rated in the shortlist I had since I just had 2 years of work experience, I was limited to options. Overall it was a good experience since it was a very new experience, just had issues with getting a job.
Course Curriculum
It was really good as I got a very deep overall exposure to the MBA fields. We also got industrial exposure as our final dissertation was one where we had to work with an actual company and use their actual data.
Exams
- IELTS required score was 5.5. I got IELTS score of 8. - 70%(IGCSE); 55%(A Levels); 6.9 B tech Computer Science- Symbiosis Institute of Technology (UG) - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit 2 LoRs, one of them from academic and one from professional. I also had to write an SoP.
Placement
The placement was the only issue I had, they did not have companies that came for campus placements and the help the career team provided was very limited and not that helpful.
Fees
18000 GBP
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio was very high, although the faculty was well-experienced. Some of the faculty used to work in the industry and brought a lot of real-life scenarios with their teaching.
Campus Life
I did not experience too much of the campus life as it was a master's degree. However, the facilities are really good and there are activities happening every now and then with the number of different clubs and societies.
Hostel
Accommodation is not available on campus in the UK, however there as lots of options as universities have tie-ups with accommodation companies. There are accommodations specially for students or you can also rent houses and rooms. I paid about 650 GBP per month.
