Academic Qualification

• Degree Requirement: Upper second-class honours 2:1 (Equivalent 3.3 to 3.7 on a 4.0 scale) degree or international equivalent in a quantitative subject.
• Admission Competitiveness: Highly competitive; most accepted students have 1st class (Equivalent 3.7 to 4.0 on a 4.0 scale) honours degrees or equivalent.
• Relevant Subjects: Economics, maths, physics, engineering, or finance.
• Required Coursework: At least a year of calculus and a semester of linear algebra.
• Quantitative Skills: Applicants should have studied at least a year of calculus and a semester of linear algebra.
• STEM Applicants: May be offered a fully funded place at the LSE Summer School to develop knowledge in microeconomics or econometrics.

• Professional Experience: Not a prerequisite, but applicants with work experience (internships or full employment) are encouraged to include it.

Pre-Sessional English Program
