New Delhi: University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is offering scholarships for international students who will be joining postgraduate taught and postgraduate research courses in academic year 2023-24.

Indian students joining the Faculty of Engineering at University of Strathclyde will be able to apply for the scholarship through the official website of the university. An amount of £3,000 will be awarded to the students getting selected for the scholarship.

Students applying for a postgraduate taught degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of their tuition fees.

Students applying for a postgraduate research degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of the tuition fees for each year of study.

The scholarship is available for the following courses at the University of Strathclyde:

  • Architecture
  • Biomedical engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil and environmental engineering
  • Design manufacture and engineering management
  • Electronic and electrical engineering
  • Mechanical and aerospace engineering
  • Naval architecture ocean and marine engineering
  • Aeronautical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Environmental engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Naval architecture
  • Ocean engineering
  • Product design
  • Prosthetics and orthotics Engineering
  • Renewable energy Engineering
  • Marine Engineering

The candidates for postgraduate research degrees can submit scholarship applications at any time of the year, while the deadline for those wishing to enroll in a postgraduate teaching course in September 2023 is August 18, 2023.

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are eligible to apply. The candidate must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree course starting in January 2024 before the scholarship application will be considered. If applying for a postgraduate research course the candidate must start during the 2023/24 academic year.
