Amity University Dubai MBA Admissions
Amity University Dubai offers two MBA pathways through Amity Business School: a full-time one-year MBA (General) and a two-year part-time Executive MBA. Both run with concentrations in business analytics and in logistics and supply chain management. The university does not require GMAT or GRE for either pathway.

Amity University Dubai MBA Interview and Decision Window
The official admission requirements page does not list a mandatory interview for the MBA. The Admissions Committee reviews complete files and issues decisions within 1 to 2 weeks. Indian applicants are typically asked for a short Skype or phone conversation only when the file leaves academic or English-floor questions open.
Planning note: The Executive MBA accepts working professionals on a Dubai resident or visitor visa. Offshore Indian applicants are better routed into the full-time one-year MBA, which qualifies for the standard student visa pathway.
Amity University Dubai Application Process

Amity University Dubai Admission Decisions
The Amity University Dubai Admissions Committee issues decisions within 1 to 2 weeks of a complete file. The offer letter arrives by email, with a separate physical letter posted to your home address on request. Indian applicants typically have 30 days from the offer date to accept, with longer windows for Spring-intake files reviewed early.
- Offer turnaround: 1 to 2 weeks after the complete file is submitted.
- Acceptance window: 30 days from offer date, unless extended in writing.
- Acceptance payment: AED 3,100 (around ₹79,763) covering registration and refundable deposit.

- Deferral: Offers can be deferred to the next intake on written request.
Amity University Dubai Documents Required for Indian Students
Amity University Dubai paperwork is light compared to UK and US universities. There is no SOP, no LOR, and no CV requirement for UG admission. Postgraduate files do not need a research proposal for the taught MBA or MSc routes. The university leans on transcripts, identity proof, and English evidence.
- Completed online application form via the Amity Online Application portal.
- Valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
- Passport-size photograph in JPEG format with white or pale background.
- Class X and XII certificates (UG), originals plus self-attested copies.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate and full transcripts (PG), attested copies.
- English proficiency score report (IELTS, TOEFL, or EmSAT) or MOI waiver letter.
- UAE-resident applicants only: Emirates ID, current visa page, sponsoring parent’s documents.
- Transfer applicants only: course syllabi for credit transfer review.
Amity University Dubai Acceptance Rate
The Amity University Dubai institutional acceptance rate is estimated at 53%, based on third-party tracking of UAE private-university admissions cycles. The university does not publish an official institutional acceptance rate. The figure reflects an access-oriented model, meaning the university admits most applicants who meet its stated Class XII or Bachelor’s CGPA floor.
How Selective is Amity University Dubai?
Amity University Dubai sits in the moderately selective band among Dubai-based private universities. Programmes like Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, and MSc Psychology run tighter cutoffs because seats are capped at small cohort sizes. The MBA and BBA tracks see the highest Indian applicant volumes and operate closer to the institutional average.
Strengthening Your Amity University Dubai Profile
- Class XII marks above 75% place you above the floor, lowering conditional-admission risk.
- IELTS 6.5+ bypasses the conditional English route and clears all PG programmes in one shot.
- Two reference letters from the school principal or college HOD strengthen borderline files.
Insider note: Files received before mid-July for the September intake clear visa processing comfortably. Late July to August files sometimes slip into a delayed September arrival even after acceptance.
Amity University Dubai admissions in 2026 favour document-light Indian files at the Fall (September) intake. The 60% Class XII floor and the IELTS 5.0 to 6.0 band make access wide, and the 53% estimated acceptance rate confirms it. Apply by mid-July, lock the bursary at file review, and arrive on schedule.

- However, in terms of academics, Amity does not perform well, it has a good curriculum but more emphasis on latest trends should be given.
- There is limited competition and rigorous environment with less emphasis on strengthening the basics.
- Highly theoretical concepts are taught and exams are mug-up based, due to which there is no practical learning involved.

Dislikes
- The time I joined Amity University as a BFA Animation student, the course was fairly new (I was the second batch of BFA Animation) and they were still figuring out the course structure and the way we learnt each softwares were different from each of my juniors. The course has changed now and is more structured. But a little bit of structure during the time I was actively learning wouldve been better.
- The companies which are called for placement weeks some of them are good companies whereas some of the companies are not that great and some of the companies that were called do not cater to the media/creative field.

Scholarship
- As mentioned earlier I had a 100% scholarship for freshman year and then 20% and 10 % for the remaining year.
- Eligibility was 90% marks and during my college we had about 100 scholarships based on merit/ nationality/ girl student. We didn’t have a cash amount and was usually deducted from the final fee structure. One of my batch mates studied completely free of cost for all 3 years
