Likes
- Overall, the college has good facilities, comfortable infrastructure, transportation and accomodation.
- Extracurricular activities are plenty and professors are very supportive
Dislikes
- However, in terms of academics, Amity does not perform well, it has a good curriculum but more emphasis on latest trends should be given.
- There is limited competition and rigorous environment with less emphasis on strengthening the basics.
- Highly theoretical concepts are taught and exams are mug-up based, due to which there is no practical learning involved.
Course Curriculum

- The course syllabus is outdated
- Limited industrial exposure, research experience is strong
- In a day, you have 3 to 4 classes, 2 to 3 hours each. Timings are usually from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
- The average number of students in my class was 50
Admission Experience
- I chose Amity University for BSC IT, as I did not come from a mathematical background, and it was the only university offering a technical course without maths. I had received a 100% scholarship in my first year for my 97.2% result in the board examination.
- Now it is an international university and not mainly Indian, so I am not well aware. As of now, admission is solely based on the board examination.
Faculty

- 50 students to 1 professor, professors are helpful and approachale, Dr. Vinod Kumar Shukla and Dr. Sanika Singh have really inspired me
Campus Life

- Campus life is very fun, there are a lot of games, events with dance shows, and music shows
- Amity dance club is very popular
- The library is good
- Sports facilities are very strict but good
- Research facilities are good
Part Time Jobs
- There is no part-time work allowed in my university, there is no TA or RA positions and no dean's list.

- I did not use accommodation, I used the college bus facility, which cost 2000 dirhams per semester
