Lulea University of Technology(LTU) offers over 100 bachelors and master programs along with a wide range of single courses in engineering, economics, social sciences, health science, etc. LTU invites applications for two semesters- Autumn and Spring, usually starting in August/September and January respectively.
For both the sessions, admission is conducted in three stages: first round, second round followed by the reserve admission for courses that have places left. Applications at Lulea University of Technology are accepted in two rounds for both Autumn and Spring semesters. English Language Proficiency Requirements
International students need to submit proof of English language proficiency to get admission at Lulea University of Technology. For both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, Swedish upper secondary course English 6 or its equivalent is required. However, a few Master’s courses may require a higher lower level of English proficiency.

Sweden Student Visa Process
International students who are admitted for programs which have a duration of longer than 3 months must apply for a resident permit to study in Sweden. Students can apply for a resident permit through the Swedish Migration Agency’s website which is the easiest and fastest way to process. Before applying, students must ensure that they have received the offer of admission. Moreover, payment of the tuition fee deposit is necessary as its receipt is needed when applying for the permit.

Lulea University offers a broad range of bachelor programs and single courses in the field of engineering, economics, social sciences, health science, media and music, teacher education etc. The admission requirements for most of the UG programs are the same. LTU offers sixteen master programs in various fields such as Civil Engineering, Data Science, International Business, Music Performance, Space Science and Technology etc. The application process to graduate programs is similar to the undergraduate application process.

Dislikes:
- The space studies branch is located in Kiruna well over 5 hours away from Luleå, where the university is located. Kiruna serves as a good place for space research thanks to its proximity to ESRANGE, Estrack and IRF. But owing to its remoteness, students can tend to fell overwhelmed and detached from the main university and its activities and attraction. null
