Bachelor’s Programmes at Chalmers University of Technology

Chalmers Bachelor’s degrees are delivered in Swedish, which effectively closes the UG route for Indian applicants who do not already hold a Swedish language qualification. Chalmers runs three tuition-only scholarships that Indian applicants are eligible for, and there is one substantial external Swedish Institute scholarship that also covers living. Chalmers University of Technology Tuition Payment Options

Chalmers does not require an admission deposit; you do not lock in your seat with an upfront payment the way US or UK universities require. Instead, the first semester’s tuition (half of the annual fee) is invoiced after your notification of admission arrives, and payment is due in early June 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake. Your paid receipt then becomes the funding document you submit to Migrationsverket for the residence permit.
