If you are selected in some good college for engineering or BSc go there but if you just need a degree, you are welcome. Its dependent upon you that how do you take advantage of your time and use it as improving some creative skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically the course consist six semesters and each semester consists of 4 subjects + 1 Practical exam of 100 number.Total exam is 500 numbers in each semester.And after the completion of all 6 semester your marks will be counted in marks obtained/3000 marks and that will decide your percentage in BCA.
Placement Experience
As you know BCA is just a graduation degree in computer applications.So the company doesn't take interest alot. For placement you have to obtain MCA.Here you'll get plenty of time for preparation of MCA Entrance exams.If you are a government job aspirant here you'll get best environment for preparation.
College Events
Well freshers and farewell is organised every year.Apart from this Gorakhpur Mahotsav is organised here and good singers appear here every year. Well I myself have never attended such events but I heard that the celebration is amazing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a self finance course the university fee is about 2500 and 15,000 rupees are semester fee. But don't worry you'll get 110%.Overall your expense for free will be around 34000/year. But I under the scholarship you will have all the money back in your pocket.
Fees and Financial Aid
Under the UP Scholarship scheme you will get around 40000 Rupees scholarship which is more the you invest on your degree.Or you can also apply for Central Government Scholarship scheme.Well I don't have much knowledge about that.
Campus Life
Well you can apply for NCC or NSS. And about the lab, you won't get the lab to practice there but I don't think that's necessary you are a Computer Applications student ,so you should have your own PC or Laptop.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes offcourse, the seniors are very helpful if you will consult with them. Not all seniors are helpful but there are some bright students who will help you to tackle the problems during semester exam preparation.
Admission
In the month of April, I applied for the DDUGU BCA entrance exam. Exam was conducted in the month of may. I scored 312 marks and got admission.As the merit for the general category was above 296 for 1st merit list.You can download the merit list details from official site ddugu.ac.in .
Faculty
The P.Hd scholar take the programming classes and rest of the subjects are taught by professors.Overall faculty is average.But in University most of the teachers won't explain you the whole book, for knowledge perspective you have to go through the books as well.
