Remarks

Really bad college with lots of bad infrastructure, poor qualities of laboratories, poor professors and lecturers. Even very few facilities are available like lavatory. I would refrain from choosing this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

It is the same for all the colleges under Anna University and the curriculum is well suited for the course. Exam structure is every student has to take 25-30 credits in each semester for eight semester and it is evaluated by Anna University itself.

Placement Experience

0.5

I would say that the placements are really pathetic because of the placement coordinator and Ill suited placement advisors. My college didn't provide any internship and also I was not aware of the most of the opportunities because even the professors don't know about it. Overall experience was okay but there was no stipend and the fee is really high for that standard.

College Events

0.5

Each year one college cultural event, one hostel cultural event, one department event. Few of them are really good and I have participated in that. Sometimes few events are conducted in a span of three to four months allowing most of the students to participate atleast in one of the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are really painfull especially if you are from the low Middle class background. I paid the fee only through bank loan. Even the students from merit have to pay a hefty fee because the college administration is worst.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got a loan from a local bank and I have been paying the repayment for 10 years. There are no scholarship provided either by the college or by the state government. I would not recommend this college.

Campus Life

0.5

There are no football grounds, no proper laboratories, no proper extracurricular activities. No proper coach for the extra curricular activities and many people left the college to join a new college.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel is a nightmare and I have paid a lot of fee for a ten cross ten room where I have shared the room with four more guys and the bathrooms are really pathetic and unhygienic. I would not recommend it

Alumni/Alumna

There are no alumini network and it was very difficult to get help from the previous students. As even the professors are new even they don't know how to contact the alumini network and people are really disappointed with the college hence they don't want to help the junior students.

Admission

Through Tamilnadu engineering counseling conducted by Anna University Chennai. Each year it is held in Chennai according to the merit list provided by Anna University based on the higher education examination.

Faculty

0.5

Few professors are good and few are actually less experienced and might be from the previous batches of the same course. Depends on the department some are really good professors. in my department few of the professors are from airforce itself.
