The best thing about this institute Parctical and industry exposure

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college have some sort of changes every year.The changes are made as per the current need of industry and corporate. The curriculum also included practical study also and also have different specialisation.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Every year they a 2 month summer internship program. It is compulsory for every students and the internship are as per tge specialisation and it also consists marks. They also provide placement and interview training in the college intself

Placement Experience

Before semester 3 there is summer internship program is there and it is compulsory for everyone to join that and it consists of 2 months. This program provide work and corporate experience to students and after sem3 students is eligible for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees is 1,85,000 and no category wise fees all have to pay same fees and the college doesn't provide any scholarship but ICIC bank came to college everyyear and select random students for scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus life is good everyone is very much helpful and loving. Till now good experience of campus. There is annual fest every year .they also have cricket tournament. This college also have different clubs of different domain

Admission

I have also applied for shant kabir college that also provide same course and also got selected from that college but the main motive of choosing this college is the faculty and placement. The admission process is easy and it also included group discussion and personal interview.

Faculty

The best thing about this institute is the faculties because they have many years of experience and almost all the faculties have phds and they are very supportive. They have one final exam at end of the semester and CEs almost every week.

Interview Experience

The admission process is easy but we need to face group discussion and personal interview. The interview is taken by the faculties only. You need to score good marks in both of them to get selected for the college

Night Life

I have not opted for hostel I live in pg so i don't know more about nightlife of hostel. College have a library and cafeteria and also mess for lunch and a garden area beside the cafeteria good infrastructure.

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

Placement Experience:

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The Campus features excellent modern facilties.

Dislikes

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.
In Monsoon season very difficult to reach at college

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.
The college provides good placement support and helps students improve their professional skills.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

i applied in private colleges but in that the faculty are not PHD holders, curriculum are avrage as normal. i applied in gtu on merit basis of CMAT. nirma but they only consider cat asperiant , i got the addmission in narayana but their fees is high about 10lakhs but they not do any extra like sbs and thier curriculum is managed by GTU....Read More
