Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum 4.5/5. It is well-structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical learning through case studies, presentations, projects groups as well as solo, and continuous evaluation. The subjects are relevant to current industry requirements and help build managerial and communication skills.
Internships Opportunities
As a first year student, I have not started my internship yet, but the college has already introduced us to the internship process and career guidance. Seniors have shared positive experiences about the internship opportunities and the support provided by placement cell. College helps students in resume building, interview preparations, and industry interactions before internships.
Placement Experience
Based on what I've seen and learned from seniors, the placement process starts from the second semester after the Summer Internship Program (SIP) for the final year batch. Untill now highest package is ₹16.12 lakh, while average package is ₹8.65 lakh. The placement cell is active and regularly coordinates with companies. And so far Shanti Business School has maintained it's 100% placements since its inception, with 800+ recruiters associated with the campus. My plans after getting the degree is to get a best sutiable job with long term growth and role must be data science.
Fees and Financial Aid
For my batch, the total fees for the 2-year PGDM program is around ₹7,85,000. It is paid in 4 installments across the course, which makes the payment process manageable. The college also shares information about scholarships and education loan options for eligible students. I paid around ₹65,000 at time of admission and my first installment was ₹1,80,000 and 3 more installments are left that are to be paid during the course. Scholarship given by the college is ₹2,00,000 and its for the students if they meet their elegiblity criteria.
Campus Life
I've really enjoyed my campus life at Shanti Business School so far. The campus is clean, peaceful, and has a positive atmosphere that makes it easy to focus on studies. I usually spend some time in library after classes because it's quite and has good collection of books. The college keeps engaged by organizing guest lectures, workshops, club activities, and different events throughout the year. One of the biggest highlight is Bauddhika, an annual fest held around February, where students get to participate in cultural programs, management events, sports, and fun competitions.
Hostel Facilities
I've had a good experience staying in the hostel. The rooms are comforatble and come with all the facilities like AC, bed with cot, study table with chair, cupboard, water filter, and geyser, making it easy to adjust. The hostel is cleaned everyday, so hygiene is well maintained. The registration process was simple, and the hostel is located within the campus, which is very convenient. The mess food is decent, although I feel the taste can be improved. The hostel is safe environment with security, and the hostel gates close at 10:30 pm, which helps maintain discipline.
Admission
I choose Shanti Business School because I liked its industry-focused PGDM program, supportive faculty, and positive learning environment. I also applied for BBAU and biggest reason for not choosing that college was its course curriculum. The admisson process in the Shanti Business School was smooth, and the admission team guided me throughout every step. The college accepts national entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT. And they take apptitude test along with the personalised interview.
Faculty
The faculty members are supportive approachable, and always willing to help whenever students need guidance. They encourage us to participate in discussions, presentations, and case studies, making the classes more interactive and practical. The PGDM curriculum is industry-oriented and focuses on both academics and skills development. Our college follows a Continuous Evaluation (CE) syestem, where assignments, presentations, quizzes, class participation, and semester exams all contribute to the final assesment. The exams are fair and test coneptual understanding rather than just memorization.
Night Life
The campus has a peaceful atmosphere, so nightlife is quite calm. After classes, students usually spend time in the library, gym, cafeteria, or hostel common areas with friends. The campus gate close at 10:30 pm, which helps maintain discipline and ensure students' safety. The campus feels secure, and hostel students can study relax with friends in the evening. Since the college is bit away from the main city, their aren't many late-night hangout options nearby, but students visits cafes and resturants nearby shela during free time.
