Best College of Kanpur

Positive:- The courses which it offers is best among all. It has also tie up with IGNOU for distance learning courses. It also provides business studies and allow students to join BBA and MBA programs run by it in addition to university granted graduation and post graduation program. Negative: It has not all the courses listed by the CSJMU. For that students have to join some other colleges or the university.

The course curriculum is good. The lecturers are efficient and experienced. This is the College that is known for its education and attendance. Exam structure include semi-annual and annual exams in an academic year.

College organise job fares on its own and sometimes in association with other colleges. Students can also participate in job fare organised by CSJMU. However there is no such thing like interernship I have ever noticed.

College hosts its cultural programs in which students can participate according to their will and talent, like music, dance, singing. College also organises its sport competition. College has a football ground.

The fee structure is quite competitive. As many of the courses are government funded it costs around 2000-4000 a year. For self financed courses it charges around 6000-7000 a year. Many of the courses are at lowest fee in whole Kanpur.

College doesn't offer any loan or scholarship on its own. But weaker section of society gets monetary aid in form of student scholarship by the government every year direct in the bank account. For this they have to provide certain proof of family income and caste certificate as required.

College arranges various programs for which students can contact with faculties. For subjects in which practicals are must there is separate labs and students are allowed on there turn to use labs. The College has its own library. College also focus on sports. They allow students admission on sports quota and also provide them some relaxation in attendance for their games.

No, there is no such facility. However juniors can always talk to their seniors for any thing. Earlier there was a practice of conducting college president elections but sometimes they take brutal actions considering which this practice has now been abolished.

For any student who wish to get admission in any graduation or post graduation program in this college, S/he has to buy the prospectus and check the prescribed percentage criteria between which the admissions are expected to be taken. Then they have to fill up the form along with the required documents and submit it in the College. Upon merit list being published, candidate can check there name in there. If the name is in the merit list, they have to proceed with the admission fee deposit and get themselves registered within the time provided by the College. Upon non fulfilment of all the seats the College publish second and third merit list for the balance seats.

The faculty is best in class. They have a tough screening process for selection. Even if there is a single student in class, they take class. The faculty is comprised of many old and experienced teachers.
