Let's Sneak into TCE

As I'm interested in software related field and i love technical stuffs but unfortunately due to my cutoff shortage I'm forced to take the hardware department which is Electrical and Electronics Engineering.If you think I'm regretting about the course definitely not even I love to learn some things which is new & I'm improving myself day by day . Ofcourse which I'm learning will definitely help me in higher studies (PG) or in job where I'm going to place ..Here the workshops, seminars are conducted frequently which helps us face real world problems and actual scenerio in outer world . While coming on to the teaching methods i hate some facilities who just put a presentation in projector & reads the words in ppt. It would be great if they try to explain in a better way instead of reading out loud.Course is actually good it's good if there's no further changes may happen. The sem exams twice is a year which is great but literally we not getting the time what's actually mentioned especially in the even semester we get very low time which is so bad to prepare and face the exams.

In this college the faculties encourage students in projects as well as in internship..In pre-final year students may get internship with stipend.And the projects are done in software as well as hardware in 3rd year or in Final year .Still I not done any Intership so i don't have details to tell about it.But I'm doing some projects which is related to software on Desktop Ai,Student Attendance,etc...

For the placements the placement training will be conducted from the 2nd year itself but from the 3rd year which is pre final year we're eligible for campus placements.If you have the skills for the job you're eligible and will be placed even at your 3rd year. Mostly the companies are IT and namely TCS,Wipro, Infosys,etc are the companies recruits frequently every year .The average package of our alumni paced is 3lpa and the highest is upto 45lpa which is just a dream for me but we'll let's try for that .The percentage of students getting placed is low in this College due to less companies visits but I hope in the future the company visits may increase.Mg plan after the degree is for the PG In MBA in somewhere in Chennai or else job for sure.

So as a B.E Electrical and Electronics Engineering student I paid 50,000 per year additionally there's some additional fees such placement training fees which's 10,000 ,No dues twice a year approximately 5000-6000 , Admission fees 5000 on first year and extra event fees like Culturals, Symposium, Annual day ,Pongal ,Onam ,etc. Most of the courses in this college fees is similar to this and it may vary according to the reservation and councelling or Management.My friends fees may differ on Tution is a little bit & there's a huge difference in hostel fees due to their category. And yeah there's a scholarship for reduction in fees on some categories for First Graduate students there's a reduction of 25,000 from their fees,Post Matric Scholarship Students (SC/ST) 50,000 from their fees will be reduced. Also College offers some scholarship according to their community like BC,MBC,BCM,etc.For this category students annually some amount from the fees will be paid each year to their bank account & they should withdraw it from bank and pay to college as according to their fees structure.

For every year there's no demand for events and functions from the freshers day, Annual day, Culturals, Symposium, Inauguration Function, Seminars, Workshop, Pongal, Onam, Holi, Hostel Day, Seniors Day are the major events held on this College. Here there's a library which contains most of the books required for the field and other outer books are lesser comparing to field related books.It's easy to access and we can take any books and should return in 15 days or must register after the 15 days. Facilities in this College Class rooms is 2 lights ,two fans and windows for fresh air , nothing more than that even it's quite good for class room i guess. There's a lot of Areas in the College for sports and the college values sports as same as Education .The campus contains Football ground ,Tennis Court,Basket ball ground, Cricket ground as well as .. There's a many clubs organised and maintained by the students namely Hands for others which core is to help others who're in need and a Blood donation Community which is to donate blood for the emergency and needed persons as soon as possible.

This College contains inbuilt 3 Hostels as One hostel is seperately for Womens/girls with high security and Two hostels for Boys/Mens with a moderate security level ..One hostel is seperately for 1 year students which is avoid ragging related issues ...This college is strictly prohibited for ragging if someone caught the management will take severe punishment even may give TC to the student. Per room there's 4 students are should be settled.The facilities of room is two lights ,fan and a Table lamp with switch box. The each hostel contains around 100 rooms with students more than 500+ The menu is simple but good .They provide both Veg as well as Non-Veg according to students decisions. Meal quality is above average it may vary on each person but the foods are prepared in a hygiene way and served there's no limits is to the food. Registration for hostel is easy just some paper works is there to join the hostel when it comes to affordability this hostel fees is little high in my opinion which 60,000 for this hostel is quite high.

I had got this College via TNEA Councelling if i go with a management quota ofcourse I'll get a college which I need but the fees matters I'm unable to afford the fees which is needed for management quota so i decided to come Councelling and I made a far list & placed this college in 5th of the list yeah then I just got it and accepted.I don't know about that much before joining but now I'm clear and good with what I got . The thing which played major role while joining college is cut off marks while I'm studying I'm not aware at all in cut off but now I just understood how important it's .That's the problem I'm rejected form other colleges but fine with my current college. Admission process of the college is very simple there's a admission cell where they guide and help in admission on course,field , etc.There's not any complications at all in it as to say

The overall faculty to student ratio is 1:10 which is good and the relationship between us is so amazing like two best friends talking to each other.We ask our doubts & questions without any hesitations and they solve our problems as well. The faculty who I like is my first year Physics Mam her name is Kalpana she's a one who understands our situations and she feel like our friends who stands in my problems and a good wellwisher.And my most of Subject Faculties are very nice and being friendly with us . In my core subject I had a faculty I can't mention his name but he is so rude and always stands on his own decisions even he'll not lisen to students problems and never try to understand us .Now he gone to another college but he's a one I never forgot about him . For a year there's two Semesters will be conducted in each semester it includes two internal exams and a model exam as well and finally the Semester exam will be conducted.Internals are mostly easy & failure is rare but in Main Semester exam it's just reverse pass is rare and mostly efforts matters .

The gym time is in morning 5:00am - 8:00am and in evening 4:00pm - 9:00pm it may alternated according the year of students.Cafeteria and Library timing same as college timing which is 9:00am to 4:30pm maybe max 5:00pm.Public closing time is from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Hostel timings are 5:00pm - 8:00pm everyone should come to hostel before the timing because the attendance is taken after the 8:00pm compulsary. The famous hot spots in the College is Cafeteria,I love TCE spot ,Stone bench ,etc...where you can see the crowd in the break times.Roaming around out of the campus is not safe and recommended while it's illegal according to the college rules.
