Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would give the course curriculum around 7/10. It builds a strong foundation, but it needs more updates, electives, and skill-based training to make students job-ready in both core and IT/software sectors.

Internships Opportunities

3

The campus has a very friendly and welcoming environment. Students from different regions and backgrounds come together, which creates opportunities to make good friendships and learn from diverse cultures. The college also organizes cultural fests, technical symposiums, and sports events, which give everyone a chance to showcase their talents and interact outside academics. Hostel life further adds to the bonding experience, with group studies, late-night conversations, and celebrations during festivals.

Placement Experience

3

Overall, the employability after completing the course depends largely on how well the student upgrades their skills beyond the syllabus. The college provides a foundation, but additional efforts in learning programming, communication skills, and industry tools are important to secure good opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute offers merit-based scholarships for high-performing students (based on 12th marks / semester GPA) as well as government scholarships for students belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS). Additionally, first-graduate concessions and state government fee reimbursement schemes are also available for eligible students.

Admission

I chose this college mainly because of its reputation in my region, the safe campus environment, and the availability of the ECE branch that I was interested in. Another key factor was that the location was convenient for me compared to some of the other colleges I applied to. The overall infrastructure, hostel facilities, and affordability of fees also played a role in my decision.

Faculty

4

The faculty strength and quality is overall satisfactory. Most professors hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees and are quite knowledgeable in their subjects. Some senior faculty members are very supportive and encourage students towards projects, research, and higher studies. At the same time, there are also a few who follow traditional teaching methods, focusing more on theory than practical exposure. The faculty–student interaction is generally good, and students can approach them for doubts and guidance outside class hours.
