Course Curriculum Overview

There are many cources offered by the college and it is an good college for the students they offer some of the most needed course like CSE ,IT,AIDS,mechanical, civil,EEE,ECE,etc.so it one among the best college in the surrounding

Fees and Financial Aid

I will pay rs 10000 per year for my tuition fee and for my bus fee the tution fee is rs70000 for me and my bus fee is rs29000 they also offer some of the best scholarship for the students for the financial support

Campus Life

campus life is a mix of academics, social interactions, and extracurricular activities. The college provides a friendly and supportive environment where students can easily connect with peers and faculty. Seniors are approachable, and faculty members guide us in both academics and career planning.

Admission

I have applied in the anna University counseling and I selected many colleges in it in that I got Sri muthukumaran institute of technology and computer science department and I have applied in many colleges for the CSE department

Faculty

There are many faculties in the college for each department and in my department there are some facilities they are very friendly with us and explaining our doubts whenever we ask doubts so the faculties here are very friendly

Night Life

Chennai is quite limited, as the college is located in Chikkarayapuram, a suburban area. However, students do have a few options for entertainment and late-night activities nearby.Overall, SMIT itself doesn’t have a strong nightlife culture, but students can explore Chennai’s vibrant city life on weekends if they are willing to travel a bit.

Detailed review of Sathyabama University

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.
