My Wonderful College Life

I chose this course as this was given importance in the current era. The course had Data structure as a subject which greatly influenced me as learning Data structure with AI gives a great boost when in terms of doing higher education. The exams are conducted every month which gives me enough gap to prepare for each exam and also be updated on the topic so the semester doesn't feel hard.

Recently for my seniors a training camp was conducted by Infosys to train students of Final year. My seniors were so excited to take part in that. My seniors also talked about the internship they took in various companies and one such senior from Computer science took a internship in a tech company with stipend.

The students become eligible for campus placement during their final year. I referred from my seniors that various tech companies come to the college conducting programs and also they recruit students who they feel fit for their company. The highest salary package for my alumni was 6LPA and the average was 4LPA

The yearly college fees for a student entering through counselling is 90000. The fees doesn't increase per year and remains the same so throughout the course the fees will be 3 lakhs 60 thousand. The fees for student applying via management is 99000 per year ,this fee also doesn't increase and remains same throughout the course. Along with this the college also offers various scholarships for students based on their mark attained in class 12. So overall studying B tech Artificial intelligence and Data science at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of technology is very much affordable.

There is lot of small events conducted regularly in the campus also recently coming day there is a women's day celebration planned by my college and regarding it various events and games is also planned. The library is fully stocked with fresh books and books are updated regularly. There is a wide range of books and journals available and can be borrowed from the library any time. My college also has Cricket, Vollyball, Basketball and Football teams and they also go on regular tournaments to participate. There is also 22 different clubs in the college each operate for the welfare of students. We all participate in each clubs based on our interests and clubs hold gathering regularly.

I choose this college because of the influence of my brother and my own personal interest as my brother is also a student of Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology doing computer science. He described that the college held many small events regular for the students to relax a little bit from academic stress and he also mentioned that the staffs were so friendly. His opinion greatly influenced me for choosing this college so I opted for this college on my counselling. I first thought of choosing medical but my NEET score was short by 20 marks so I opted for Engineering.

The college faculties are the best in my opinion as they are so friendly and jovial towards us and they guide us very well from the very beginning. The teachers are very excellent and knowledgeable in their subject . The thing which I found to be great is that the teachers are ready to teach one on one and doesn't hesitate to teach the same topic 2-3 times until we understand the topic. I loved every single faculty as they were so positive and jovial towards us and infact Ms Sangeeta,AP Physics and Ms Nathiya,AP Maths were my favourite. The exams conducted internally are moderate and when learnt properly we were able to score high marks.

There is a lot of eating places nearby the college. Unlike other colleges my college is right in the city so various fast food chains, restaurants,tea shops and bakery is right outside the college so there is no need for going long distance for eating something after the college. The hostel timings for hostellers is till 9 so they can stay out till 9 pm. The main hangout place is the AK Punjabhi Dabha which is right opposite to the college where they serve very tasty menu.
