Course Curriculum Overview

3

Moderately relevant and comprehensive . It has dual focus and specialisation . And a balanced structure . It covers theoretical foundations of law and management. However practical exposure is limited

Fees and Financial Aid

For the batch i was in , ie; 2019 admission the fee was 60 k annually for management quota students and 40 k for entrace quota students. The rate has increased for the upcoming batches . Total course fee amounts to 3 lakhs for management quota .

Campus Life

4

Campus life at Nehru academy of law is moderately active , offering a balance of academics and social interactions and extra curricular activities, making it a comfortable place to focus on studies and personal growth .

Admission

I chose this college because it offered dual degree within a reasonable fee structure. The campus has a peaceful atmosphere for focusing on studies . The faculties are approchable and helpful . I applied to NUALS , CUSAT And such other colleges . Being closer to my hometown made me choose this college

Faculty

2

Overall faculty strength is decent and quite manageable. Approximately 1:30 faculty to stydent ratio exists. Faculty are generally Approachable and are available after class hours . They are very much supportive . Course is designed across 5 years with a balance of theory and practical subject each semester.

Interview Experience

3

there is a basic entrance test conducted by the college for students of management quota . It is an objective test based on general knowledge of law . No interview was conducted . It was simple direcr and stress free

Night Life

2

Nightlife is very limited . The area is quite remote and semi urban . Although there are small hangout spots and food spots around the campus there is nothing exceptional to say . Late night access to the campus is not allowed and the academic block shuts around 5:00 pm . There are local bakeries and tea shops within walking distance .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good. The curriculum is balanced in a way that it is apt for every students. The structure of curriculum teaches in a way that it will help to get into real world experiences and understanding. The teaching methods are well balanced. But the duratiuon between 2 exams is very low. This will give more pressure to the students. And the exams are tough also.

This course is definitely a long one. But I felt it is good so that we can learn two degrees within this 5 years and so that we don't waste much time . Teaching time starts from 9:30 till 3:30 . This can be changed and can stop at 1 in the afternoon. Even though our sem exams are lagging our internals happen every now and then which is actually helpful.
