Remarks

You can't expect that much from any Government colleges, just like that in our college too. Some positive thing is college has very good faculties who helps you in every step of your success. And the negative thing is college has not sufficient rooms to engage the classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is great as usual, and college has especially commerce department has very experienced faculties, so that helps you to clear your course easily. The exam will be conducted by Mysore University, it makes exams very tightly, there will be squads for your every exam.

Placement Experience

1

It's common in every Government College it's sad too that there will no campus selection and job apportunities with your studies. As well as my College also does not provide any job opportunities and internship. But definitely some faculty will insist you for some competitive exams like SDA, FDA, CIVIL, RAILWAYS etc.

College Events

4

As usual our college will also conduct some events that sports and cultural programs. And it also conduct fresher's party for new coming students of college. Our college has a great NSS unit and that unit has a team of more than 200 students. They will conduct a annual camp, that helps students to involve in social activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Usually Government colleges are not at all a expensive thing. It encourage the poor students to study. As same our college also has less fees for all courses. It will cost you under ?5000 only. It is a budget friendly fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college will not provide you any scholarship or loans to the students. But Government will facilitate the scholarship for the all category of students and also provide the education loans for the students.

Campus Life

3

College will conduct curricular activities every year. It gives beautiful programs in the college itself with the students. Science department has well facilitated labs in the college. Sports is a special thing in every college. You can participate in every games, especially our college is great in weight lifting.

Hostel Facilities

4

My College is within the limits of 10 km from my home, so I have no problem with going to the college, I reach college by 40 to 45 mins everyday. Therefore I never had a chance to live in the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

As being a student of this college for more than 2 years I had never experience of alumni network and senior students. I have seen some old students rarely in the college, and that's all. Some identified students will visit college.

Admission

It's handled by Mysore University & it is also a RUSA funded college, when I cleared my 12th boadrd exam in 2017, I decided to do B.com course and my 12th marks was 70%. I choose this college because it was in the city & easy to travel from my home, I visited the college and there was direct admission for students those who got 70% above on their 12th board, so I got the seat easily.

Faculty

4.5

They are all very experienced faculties except some guest faculty, however they are very friendly with the students, and students won't hesitate to clear their doubt with the faculties. I personally experienced that they are all best at their work.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
